With the advent of photo editing tools and interactive quizzes, YouTube provides creators with additional tools to create community posts.
Updates in the social media format known as “community posts” are accessible to YouTube channels with 500 subscribers or more.
It displays posts on channel pages under the Community tab and in users’ recommendation feeds.
Text, images, videos, GIFs, and polls can all be used in community posts. More creators are now receiving access to in-app photo editing tools, and YouTube is experimenting with the option to include quizzes in uploads.
More information on these updates for YouTube community posts can be found here.
Quizzes In YouTube Videos
A limited group of this platform’s artists are participating in an experiment that lets them include quizzes in community posts.
Innovating and engaging, quizzes allow authors to interact with their audience. Quizzes can be created by creators in the beta similarly to other community posts.
You may be able to increase the number of repeat visitors to your material if you use a contest or simple shout-out to encourage consumers to take the quiz.
Given that this is an experiment, the platform might open up more quizzes if they get a good response.
Photo Editing On iOS
When posting community posts on this platform, the platform producers using Apple’s iOS now have the option to add filters, text, and stickers to photographs.
These features were introduced by YouTube earlier this year for Android, and now they are coming to iOS.
This can be tested on iOS phones by a small, randomly chosen set of artists who have access to the Community tab.
