Mobile games have become really popular in the last few years. There are so many crazy new Android games being released every month. However, there’s a problem: the Google Play Store is still a mess, and finding new Android games can be very difficult.

1. Star Wars: Hunters
Exciting news for Star Wars enthusiasts! A new Android game is set to be released in 2023, featuring an all-new cast of characters from bounty hunters to stormtroopers and rebel heroes. The game is set after the fall of the Galactic Empire and promises to take players on a thrilling journey through some of the most iconic locations in the Star Wars universe.
The gameplay will be a real-time, team-based arena combat game, allowing players to battle it out with others. Along with Android, the game is scheduled to be released on iOS and the Nintendo Switch. However, it’s unclear whether crossplay will be an option.

2. Valorant
Riot’s popular first-person shooter game, Valorant, was released on PC in 2020 and created quite a buzz. During the game’s one-year celebration, Riot announced that they are now bringing it to mobile devices.
Although we don’t have many details yet, we do know that Riot plans to make some changes to the game to make it easier to play on mobile devices, just like they did with their game Wild Rift.
Additionally, the mobile version won’t allow players to play with those on PC, but it may have cross-progression, which means players can transfer their progress from PC to mobile. Although Riot hasn’t officially announced when the mobile version will be released, rumors suggest it could be in 2023.
Recently, a Twitter user discovered that Valorant mobile files were added to the PC version in March, which may indicate that more information will be revealed soon.
3. Plants vs. Zombies 3
There’s a new game in the Plants vs. Zombies series coming to Android called Plants vs. Zombies 3. Unlike the previous games, this one can be played with one hand in portrait mode, making it more mobile-friendly.
In the game, you fight against zombies using a variety of plants with unique abilities. The new game will have 3D models instead of 2D graphics, but the same overall look and feel. It’s free to play but has microtransactions.
The game was released for testing in late 2020, but the developer pulled it from the Play Store to work on player feedback. The game is currently undergoing limited testing, and there’s no official release date yet.
4. Total War Battles: Warhammer
Traditionally, real-time strategy games for mobile devices have not been very good. 5. Honkai: Star Rail
If you’re someone who’s into mobile games, chances are you’ve heard of Genshin Impact. The people who made it, Mihoyo, were already popular because of another series they made called Honkai. And now, they’re about to release the fourth game in that series, called Honkai: Star Rail.
This game is a strategy RPG and has the same look and characters as the previous games, but with new places to explore like an open world and dungeons. To do this, you’ll need to make a team of four characters.
The game looks really cool and you can try it out soon because it’s coming out on April 26th. If you sign up early, you can get special rewards when it’s released.
6. Pokémon Sleep
We always get excited about new Pokémon games on Android, but this one is different. It’s called Pokémon Sleep and was first announced back in May 2019, but we didn’t hear anything about it for almost four years. Finally, at Nintendo’s Pokémon Presents event on February 27, 2023, we got an update and release date.
Pokémon games are always fun, but this one is unique because it’s all about your sleep. Instead of exploring to catch Pokémon, Pokémon Sleep tracks your sleep patterns by placing your phone or a special accessory next to your pillow. It also has an alarm clock feature. If you’re a big Pokémon fan and want to try something new, Pokémon Sleep will be available in Summer 2023.
7. Warcraft Arclight Rumble
It’s been almost 20 years since the last major Warcraft game (Warcraft III) was released, but soon there will be a new game called Warcraft Arclight Rumble. This game is designed for Android devices and involves controlling miniature versions of famous Warcraft characters and creatures.
The game includes a PvE campaign, as well as online co-op and competitive play. There are five factions to choose from, each with its own unique characters and abilities. The game also features six different modes, with some requiring resource gathering, objective capturing, and boss battles.
While an official release date has not been announced, Blizzard launched a closed beta at the end of 2022 and the progress seems to be going well. You can pre-register on the Google Play Store to receive a notification when the game is available for download in your region.
8. Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy
Rockstar Games wanted to make more money from their popular Grand Theft Auto games, so they decided to make new and improved versions of GTA III, Vice City, and San Andreas. These new versions have better graphics, smarter computer opponents, and more.
The new game came out first on computers and game consoles on November 11, 2021, and was supposed to come out on mobile devices in early 2022. But now we don’t know when it will come out on mobile devices, because it was delayed until sometime between April 2022 and March 2023. It’s still being made, though, and hasn’t been canceled.
People had different opinions about the game when it came out on consoles, but Rockstar Games said they would make it better through updates. Hopefully, by the time it comes out on mobile devices, it will be even better. Either way, it should be a fun way to play some of the most important games of the 21st century again or for the first time.
9. Battlefield
The popular Battlefield game series, which is typically only available on gaming consoles and computers, will soon be available on Android devices for the first time ever. Although details are limited as the marketing is focused on the latest installment, Battlefield 2042, it seems that the Android version will be released soon.
For fans of the series, the gameplay on Android should feel familiar. You enter a large map filled with various weapons, vehicles, and gadgets and compete against another team to either score points or complete objectives. The game offers four classes to choose from, each with its own strengths and weaknesses: Assault, Support, Medic, and Recon.
As of early 2023, the game is in open beta testing in most regions worldwide. You can pre-register beforehand for a chance to participate in the beta. The full release of the game on Android is expected sometime later in 2023.
10. Clash Mini & Heroes
Supercell is a mobile game company known for their popular Clash series, which includes games like Clash Royale and Clash of Clans. They are now working on two new games: Clash Mini and Clash Heroes, which are being developed by different teams within the company.
Supercell is known for creating games that are very well-made and polished, but their third game, Clash Quest, was canceled in 2022 because it didn’t meet their standards.
Clash Mini is a board game set in the Clash universe that is similar to games like Auto Chess and Teamfight Tactics. Clash Heroes is a co-op action RPG. Both games will have the same characters and visual style as the other Clash games.
As of early 2023, Clash Mini has been released in some countries, but Clash Heroes is still in development.
